UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES, Pseudo-Imperial coinage. Late 3rd-early 4th centuries. 'Aureus' (Gold, 22 mm, 4.00 g, 5 h), 'Derived Gordian Group C'. COΛXRCOCI[...]DΛVOSKCLL Laureate, draped and cuirassed imperial bust to left, seen from behind. Rev. [...]N+OKbXUVΛOSNNΛOXCB Mars advancing right, holding spear in his right hand and shield in his left. Holed and with some scrapes and scratches on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
